The aeronauts movie real story. I'm usually not into these type of movies. but this looks pretty good until I found out the female/felicity jones character did not exist and actually replaced a man who saved them both. Smh. I would have given this a 10 if it wasn't for the historical inaccuracy, and only not giving it a zero because I hope more movies like this come out(accurately. C'mon Hollywood, quit with the social pandering and dumbing down of history. Good cinematography and design.

Glad to see Felicity and Eddie back together again! They look great together! This movie looks awesome. The aeronauts ending. The aeronauts review. I hate Amazon Prime now. This movie looks like it would've been a must-see to watch in IMAX, but because they couldn't be patient, they canceled it. Even if the movie wasn't great, it would've at least have that because the flick looks beautiful. It's the equivalent of seeing Roma on Netflix when it should've been experienced on the big screen and not at home where you could be distracted by anything from your surroundings.

To be honest i don't even know whats happening anymore. I thought he was going to say My name. My name e Borat, nice to meet you. 🤣. The aeronauts movie trailer. Omg. Probably the best. The aeronauts rating. The aeronauts movie showtimes. The aeronauts 2019. Pajeet meteorologist in 1862 in London. Damn this is a really AWSOME movie I'm Gonna watch this is great. The aeronauts trailer reaction.

LMFAO this looks hilarious. It's not right to put in a fictional person in a historical drama. It just confuses people. They should have kept the actual partner of James Glaisher, Henry Coxwell with him in the movie. There were women who were actual aeronauts such as: Sophie Blanchard, wife of the first professional balloonist, who went on to make 60 trips on her own even after her husband died. She also made experiments, and had fun, setting off fireworks, and crossed the alps in her balloon! Then there is Camille Du Gast who was also an avid race car driver, who was friends with two other women balloonists who were widely renowned for their accomplishments. Why weren't these real women's stories told, their accomplishments, having the film focus on aeronauts the world over? Many of them corresponded with each other and were friends and knew of each other. This has been done successfully in films before, no reason why it couldn't, and do justice to history. It helps no one to put in people who weren't there. Aeronauts led exciting lives. Women aeronauts did face these sorts of challenges. I would have preferred based on their letters and history in newspapers, to see more of what women really faced than possibly some contrived scripting, that will feel cliche.

The aeronaut's windlass. Jeezum, people. I've never read so many reviews, allegedly written by real people, that beat the same dead horse. Yes, this is a fictionalized recreation very loosely based on a historical event. I, at least, didn't watch it intending to see a documentary. I wanted to see an entertaining film, and this delivered. I am afraid of heights, so this film had my guts puckered throughout. I liked the Rennes character.
If you want a documentary, look elsewhere, but this film simply does not deserve the misogynistic bashing it's getting from a bunch of hurt trump supporters. The Aeronauts is an adventure film based on the book "Falling Upwards: How We Took to the Air" by Richard Holmes. Starring Eddie Redmayne and Felicity Jones, it is a high spirited adventure brought to life by its two lead actors.
In 1862 in London, ambitious meteorologist James Glaisher (Eddie Redmayne) teams up with hot air balloon pilot Amelia Wren (Felicity Jones) to study the effects of weather and venture higher than any human has ever been before. At first, things go according to plan but eventually the two of them become entangled in a fight for survival as they battle through fierce storms, thin air, and below freezing temperatures.
With its beautiful visuals and likeable leads, The Aeronauts is a fun spectacle that makes great use of its source material. There is so much to admire in terms of the bravery of these two adventurers, all in the name of furthering our knowledge of what the skies have to offer us. There was never a moment that didn't feel like the two weren't actually in a hot air balloon, whether this comes down to clever CGI or green screen trickery I am unsure but either way the special effects department certainly deserves high praise. The only real issue is that the film's constant use of flashbacks to the character's past does affect the pacing at times but thankfully, this does ease up during the third act.
Both lead actors Eddie Redmayne and Felicity Jones do a great job of holding our attention throughout the film, this being the first time since 2014's "The Theory of Everything" that the two have acted opposite each other. It's so much fun to see the adventurous Amelia work hard to help further the bookish James' mission to document the weather while she simultaneously wishes to explore the skies. Upon research, I have learned that James Glaisher was a real person and Amelia Wren is in fact a composite character created to represent the female pilots of that era. Regardless of the latter's fictional origins, she is still a solid character that does her profession justice.
Overall, even though this film is mostly fictionalised, we can still appreciate its value of human curiosity to inspire anyone out there to go out and explore the unknown. There is still so much we don't understand about how things work and for all we know, it may just take movies like this to influence people to find out.
I rate it 7.5/10.

The aeronauts ending scene. This shit is too much. I'm like half asleep watching this and I'm crying from laughter. The aeronauts csfd. Winona Ryder use to play as Jo, right. The aeronauts film. I lost it at hand of the king ghidorah. You gotta respect the fact that all the kaiju show more emotion and personality than the new lion king.
